MobiariDocs

Quickstart

From zero to your first authenticated API call in under five minutes.

By the end of this page you'll have a store API token and a list of your products from curl. You need curl and jq.

1. Open the admin

Sign in at app.mobiari.com and switch into the store you want to script against. The store name is at the top of the sidebar.

2. Create a store API token

Open Settings in the sidebar, then the API tokens tab, and click New token. The token works only for this store and acts as you:

  • Name: anything you'll recognize later. laptop curl is fine.
  • Permissions: only what you need. For this walkthrough, products.read is enough.
  • Expiry: leave blank for now.

Click Create. The raw token is shown exactly once:

mobi_st_8aF3K2…NvWp

Copy it now

Mobiari stores only a hash of the token. If you close the dialog without copying it, Rotate it (or revoke it and create a new one).

export BP_TOKEN="mobi_st_8aF3K2…NvWp"

3. Find your store ID

Store-level endpoints take the store's UUID in the path. List the stores you can access:

curl -s https://api.mobiari.com/v1/me/access \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $BP_TOKEN" \
  | jq '.stores[] | {store_id, store_name}'
export STORE_ID="0199a4f2-6c1e-7d3a-9b1f-3e2c8a5d7f10"

4. Make your first call

curl -s "https://api.mobiari.com/v1/stores/$STORE_ID/products?limit=5" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $BP_TOKEN" \
  | jq '.data[].title'

This prints the titles of your first five products. Lists come back as a Page: the items in data, plus has_more and next_cursor to get the next page. See Pagination.

Products are still moving to Page

Until Products appears in the API reference, its list returns the older shape, with the items under products: use jq '.products[].title'.

If the token lacks products.read, you get a 403 instead:

{ "error": "Forbidden", "code": "forbidden" }

Go back to API tokens and issue one with the right permission.
